Our most recent Mission's Trip!
Who Went
A group of 10 adults ranging in age from 30s to 70s and 4 teenagers from CrossView Church went on a trip to the Detroit Hope House.
What We Worked On
Most mornings the group worked on interior and exterior painting along with some landscaping of a house the ministry is fixing up to sell to support Hope House Detroit. The afternoons were spent working with neighborhood kids. The lemonade and baked goods we we helped make with the neighborhood kids were sold at a lemonade stand run by the kids on Friday. Late afternoon and evening we helped with outdoor fun and interacted with kids. Amazing relationships were formed.
What God Did
God broke out hearts for the kids and people of Detroit. We lived out the scripture of serving Jesus by serving the least of these. God bonded us as true brothers and sisters in Christ. God brought us to tears as we felt the love and moving of the Holy Spirit come over us. Many of our lives were changed in a powerful way. God taught us to love and be loved.
